Faith Formation Material
In Matthew 28:18-19, Jesus Christ commands us not only to baptize but also to teach all people everything He has commanded us. This means that all baptized individuals must learn the faith. However, in Uganda, those who teach the faith often lack the necessary resources. I am referring to parents, catechists, and religion teachers in our schools.
We aim to share faith formation resources that explain Catholic doctrine in clear and accessible language, helping all the baptized to learn, understand, live, and share their faith with others.
Many people leave the Church mainly because they were poorly catechized. They do not understand what the Church is or what it teaches. We will provide clear explanations of the Church’s teachings to help draw back those who have left the Church.
Some people genuinely seek the truth. They have questions about the faith and haven’t received satisfying answers. Many non-Catholics lack exposure to the rich tradition, history, and accurate interpretation of Christ’s teachings.
We want to walk with them step by step, just as Jesus walked with the two disciples on the way to Emmaus, explaining everything about Himself from Scripture, and He revealed Himself to them in the breaking of the bread. In doing so, we can foster a deeper understanding of who Jesus Christ is so that those who sincerely seek Him may come to believe.
